::THE CAKE::

This weekend we had a meeting to plan out our cake with Gretel-Ann Fischer.  We designed a cake that will meet our needs and look beautiful!

::REHEARSAL DINNER::

Our rehearsal dinner has been booked!  We will be dining at Junior's Italian Restaurant in Colchester.  Huge thanks to Michael's parents for booking this for us!  Check out the restaurant here.

::ENGAGEMENT PHOTOSHOOT::

Hello Everybody!

:: WE WON!!!::

In September we registered to win a free wedding photography package from Brown Eyed Photography!  We had to nominate ourselves and tell them why we were THE Vermont couple for them.  We then placed a call to arms to some friends on Facebook which resulted in about a dozen nominations from other friends and family.  After much nervous waiting, I met with Sarah Jackson Vaillancourt or SJV as I affectionately call her of Brown Eyed Photography on Wednesday, September 29th and she told me "so we are totally doing your wedding"!  Arik and I couldn't be more excited and thankful!  Be sure to check out their website at:  http://www.browneyedphotography.com

::OUR CEREMONY LOCATION::

Arik and I have decided to have our wedding ceremony in the Lorraine B. Good room on the second floor of the Firehouse Center for The Visual Arts.  We decided to take a peek at it before we toured the Spirit in September and fell absolutely in llllllllove and had to find a way to incorporate it into our special day.

::IT'S OFFICIAL!!!::

Hello Everybody!

Yesterday (September 23rd) we met with Rachel at the Spirit of Ethan Allen's Flynn Street business office to sign our contract.  After having a brief chat we signed our contract with Rachel for July 9th 2011!  Arik's Mom called today and placed our deposit!  HUGE thank you to her and Arik's step dad Roger!  It's official!  Get ready kids!
